Are perfumes on Amazon.ae original?
It depends on the seller. Amazon's anti-counterfeiting FAQ says "Products offered for sale on Amazon must be authentic" and that it is each seller's and supplier's responsibility to make sure what they sell is genuine. That is a rule for sellers, not a guarantee for every listing.
"Sold by Amazon" vs third-party sellers vs brand stores
Check who the bottle is "sold by" and "ships from". Our order of preference:
- Sold by Amazon or by the brand's official store: the most direct supply chain.
- Third-party seller with a long, recent review history: read the seller's own reviews, not only the product's.
- New seller with a price far below everyone else: skip it, or keep everything until you've checked the bottle.
Amazon.ae's returns page gives beauty items, including fragrance, a 15-day window, and items must come back in the same condition, sealed if applicable. Third-party sellers must offer a UAE return address, a prepaid label or a refund without a return. If a third-party seller doesn't help, the A-to-z Guarantee covers items sold and fulfilled by third-party sellers; Amazon says a review takes up to one week.
On 4 Nov 2026, Dior Sauvage EDP 100 ml was listed at AED 517, AED 534 and AED 576 by different sellers. Search results also showed similarly named bottles from other brands, so check the brand name on the listing carefully.
Is perfume on noon original?
The same seller logic applies. noon sells some stock itself and hosts marketplace sellers, so look at the seller name on the product page before you add it to the cart.
noon's return policy has a 15-day window, but says "Beauty (Cosmetics, Skin Care, etc.), fragrances and Health products that are opened or used will not be accepted". So check the box, seal and batch code before you open the bottle.
Faces, Ounass, Sephora and department stores
These retailers sell their own stock, so there is no third-party seller to check.
- Faces: its site describes its range as "100% authentic products". That is Faces' own wording, not ours. Faces' returns page allows returns within 7 days of receiving the order by calling 800 965 664; opened or used items are not accepted, and promotion and sale items are excluded. It had Dior Sauvage EDP 100 ml at AED 685 on 30 Oct 2026, with free delivery on orders of AED 299 and above.
- Ounass: its online returns page says beauty and grooming items, including fragrance, can't be returned. Damaged or incorrect items can be returned within 30 days.
- Sephora UAE: its store terms allow returns within 14 days for unused, unopened items with the original invoice, in the country of purchase; sale items have 3 days. These are in-store terms, so check the online terms at checkout.

Buying direct from the house
The brand's own UAE online store removes every middleman. On 29 Oct 2026:
- Dior: the Dior UAE site says it delivers only in the UAE, in 2 to 5 working days, with complimentary standard delivery on all orders (checked 30 Oct 2026) and express 4-hour delivery in Dubai for orders placed before 5pm (free over AED 300, otherwise AED 50). It offers 2 free samples per order, exchanges within 7 days and refunds within 3 days on unopened items with the invoice (customer service 800 111 1367).
- Lattafa: the Lattafa store shows free shipping on orders over AED 150, for UAE delivery only.
- Swiss Arabian: the Swiss Arabian UAE store shows a banner offering free shipping on orders of AED 250 and above and next-working-day delivery.
- Ajmal: the Ajmal store prices in AED and advertises free shipping and cash on delivery.

Testers, samples and decants
- Testers are bottles made for in-store sampling. When sold, they usually come in a plain box and may have no cap. If you buy one, buy from a seller you would trust with a full bottle, and check the returns rules first.
- Samples are small vials, often free with an order. Dior's UAE site, for example, adds 2 free samples per order. Ask a retailer for a sample before buying a full bottle as a gift.
- Decants are small amounts poured from a full bottle by someone else, often a hobbyist. Buy from sellers who show the source bottle and its batch code, and treat them as trial sizes, not gifts.
Cheap perfume in Dubai: souks, outlets and duty free

- Use the platform's claim process, for example Amazon.ae's A-to-z Guarantee for third-party sellers.
- Report it. The UAE government portal says complaints go to the Ministry of Economy (800 1222) or the Department of Economic Development in each emirate.
The same page says the consumer protection law, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 as amended by Decree-Law No. 5 of 2023, covers goods sold through UAE-registered e-commerce platforms. It does not apply to e-commerce businesses registered outside the UAE. That is another reason to buy from UAE-registered shops.
